This weekend we enjoyed
the adorable children of
Sophistimom
You must visit her blog and be awed by her ideas and recipes.
And, yes, her recipes–like mine–are all proud originals.

Sophistimom makes her own apple galletes with frangipane.
I do not know what frangipane is.

Despite my utter lack of insistence on table manners and other such fineries, we all had a mighty delicious time together. And my kids adored having good friends in the haus for two days straight. It was so nice of Jaime to share them with us.
