Apple Turkey Brats
The first time
I remember making
a funny face
was in college.
*
My roomie
Brittmarie
{greatest name ever, eh?}
was simply delightful.
*
And simply didn’t take
herself too seriously
*
I think often
she taught me to laugh.
*
And to laugh at myself
*
And I love her for it.
*
*

Looking to lighten up?
This is a quick & simple way to create your own
low-fat brats that don’t skimp on flavor or fullness.
*
Apple Turkey Brats
1 lb. ground turkey
1 apple, grated
2 t. Brown Mustard
1 egg white
1 t. fennel seed
Salt & Pepper to taste
*
Shape meat into hot-dog, or hamburger shapes. Heat 2 t. oil over medium heat in a skillet. Brown meat in oil, then add 1/2 c. apple juice, cover and allow to simmer until fully cooked. Serve in bun.
Laugh.
At Yourself.
Everyday.

Mmmm…Sounds great!
I love the “tight buns” joke, too. Where do you come up with these?!

Yum! Turkey and apples sounds delish, love the combo of sweet and savory! I’ll take turkey over most meats any day :D. Hope you have a great New Year :)!
