Marbled Chocolate Fortune
Today was a big day.
‘Twas the day when friend, Nathan
learned if he and good wife Bethany
would recieve a job offer in
a land, far distant from Colorado.
Bethany called around noon
to tell us….
they are staying.
On the phone, I said:
“Oh. I am so sorry Nathan didn’t get the job.”
Off the phone:
The kids and I did ran around the house doing the happy dance in our sequined show vests.
We kind of like those two.
Think we’ll keep ’em.*

Marbled Chocolate Fortune Cookies with Candy Cane Crust
Quick. Crunchy. So Addictable.
Simply melt 1 cup white chocolate chips in a small bowl, in the microwave for 20 seconds. Stir. Microwave an additional 20 seconds. Stir. Continue until chocolate chips are smooth and melty.
In another bowl, do the same with 1 cup of milk chocolate chips.
Pour the white chocolate into the bowl with the milk chocolate.
Use a spoon and fold once or twice until the chocolates are slightly swirled together.
Dip fortune cookies in the choclate mixture,
press into a plate of crushed peppermint candy canes,
cool on waxed paper.
