The Big Apple
Hi. How are you?
Two days, no bloggy. It feels like forever.
And, see here’s the thing. I have a recipe for Homemade Caramel Applesauce in queue. But, I got myself stuck in a big apple. Which is to say, I’m stuck in THE Big Apple. And, suddenly homemade applesauce seems like….well…small apples.
Flown out here by the fine folks of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter for a snappy two-day launch party, I’d had a flight back to Colorado scheduled asap. (The Cheeky Hubby is pinch hitting big time, and there’s a science fair project due, and piano lessons to attend. You know. There’s the good stuff to get to.) But, Mother Nature had different plans, and instead covered the city in a layer of slush. It’s gorgeous. I slept with the window open last night so I could smell the city.
Please do not worry about me. I bought four of these.
From this guy.
I tried saving one for you, but shared with these adorable urchin girls instead.
It’s cold. It’s slurpy. There’s honking below my hotel window at 2 o’clock in the morning.
Wish you were here,
P.S. Fabu recipes arriving pronto. In the meantime, wanna see what we ate at the ICBINB Launch event?! I’m talking super yummycat. Check ‘em out here.
