Pretty Pink Strawberries

Not that you need a recipe for chocolate-dipped strawberries. They’re the simplest, most perfect dessert out there and not at all hard to make. Obvs. (Though, of course, if you’re looking for some great tips on dipping gourmet strawberries, check out my step-by-step article on BettyCrocker.com)

Still, when we dipped a spontaneous batch of these pretty, pink strawberries today for the neighbor girls across the street, I thought the addition of pink candy melts made them dainty and adorable. So I grabbed my camera, snapped a few pics, and thought I’d share. ‘Cause anything this easy deserves to be celebrated.

To make our pretty pink strawberries, we just zapped pink candy melts in the microwave, then dipped clean, dry strawberries into the melted chocolate.

A sprinkle of sparkling sugar. The dot of these cute candy hearts which arrived in the mail today from Sophistimom. And we were done. Voila!

    Just found your blog.
I hardily agree with your "food world view" as it were.
    I love this strawberry recipe.
We happen to have a big container of strawberries in our fridge, and tonight for Friday Family Nite we are getting our pink strawberry groove on!

    Cheers,
    Leah
