BLT Bacon Bites

Once upon a time I made Pepperoni Pizza Puffs (Thanks, Noble Pig for lighting the fire of pepperoni passion).  They made for perfect little bite-sized appetizers. But the recipe reworked and revamped is five times splendider. Yes. On Thursdays, splendider is a word.

If you hop on over to Smithfield today, you can find our fam’s new favorite afterschool treat: BLT Bacon Bites. They are ridiculously simple to make, ridiculously divine to eat, and splendider than those nappy packaged treats you might buy otherwise.

If you hop on over to Smithfield and leave me a comment on their site, you’ll also be entered to win a set of these adorable Le Creuset Silcone Prep bowls. How much do you love these puppies? Almost as much as real puppies, says I.

And, perhaps as much as you’ll love me actually telling you who the winners of all these Smithfield giveaways are.  I’ve entirely forgotten to announce the winners, so will do it Friday. Promise.

Get on over there, leave a comment, then come on back here Friday and see if you’re a winna. Oh, heck. You’re already a winna.  Come back and see if you get a free kitchen treat along with being totally fab you.

POST EDIT:  So sorry!  We’re on Spring Break this week and this post went live a day early, announcing everything a wee bit in advance.  I was off swimming and hangin’ with my homies (whatevs. my kids) and totally missed the stress I’ve put you all through. Ugh! You should now be able to view the recipe, and of course I’ll also count yesterday’s comments as entries in the giveaway.

I’ll have to keep checking back for this recipe because I am totally taking these to the next neighborhood happy hour. It just isn’t official until I arrive with ham of some sort (and bacon is close enough) or so goes the neighborhood joke.
