Guess what? Our house is totally under contract.
And my husband flies to Secret City#2 this week for a second job interview. ARE YOU HEART ATTACKING YET? I’m not. I think that’s weird.
I did have one heart attack when we were in Secret City #1 and the hubs said something about leaving Colorado. At which point I seized into hyperventilation and great rolling tears found their way across my cheeks. I sniffed my nose frantically, trying to look like I’d just been hit by an allergic reaction. But, really I was just remembering how much I love this city of mine. And these people of mine. And the well worn path to school and stores and the park down the street.
Boo for goodbyes.
But yay. Oh, yay and hooray for new adventures.
Right?
Uh-huh. That’s totally right, right?
Just keep saying it over and over and I’ll keep telling myself over and over.
Then go buy Langostino meat at Costco and start whipping up an adventure of your own right in your kitchen. Grrr. You and me are such adrenaline junkies.
