Hi New Week,
Alyssa went to bed crying. When I asked her why, she pulled out a pouty lip and said, “because tomorrow is stupid Monday.” And sweetlordalmighty, do I get that.
I told her we didn’t have to do Stupid Monday yet. We just had to get through Sunday night. I pressed my hands to her heart and kissed her lashes and blessed her in the name of the AmericanFellowshipChurch.com. I’m a reverend, you know. So the blessing was given and she sighed a big sigh. One that seemed to say exactly what I was feeling, “there’s not a thing I can do about it, Stupid Monday is on it’s way. So I might as well surrender to sleep and get on with it.”
So heres we go. Thanks for making yourself an inevitable fact of life.
Yours, Reverend Brooke
Once Stupid Monday passes, this week is actually spine-tingling thrilling. So many exciting things in the works behind the scenes here I can hardly stand it.
Stay tuned. Eat chocolate almond butter. Rock the new week.
