Pepperoni Pizza Pops
I’ve been sitting uninspired for a whole month, prepping a few Cheeky changes behind the scenes and trying to conjure what comes next when Hillshire Farms hit me up, inviting me to create an all-new Party Animal for their superclever Pinterest party ideas board, and I was like….duh! What’s obviously been needed retooling at CheekyKitchen is a return to the thing everyone’s been begging for since forever. Our food needeth faces. So, we’re baaaack.
Ready to party?
We’re pulling out the fun stuff with this recipe. A combination of kid favorites–Lit’l Smokies and pepperoni pizza, all wrapped and rolled on a stick. When my kids saw these, they were delighted. They’re so easy to snack on, fun to dip in Sriracha or marinara sauce, and pop into your face. A perfect way to cut the Gameday rut, an even better way to get everyone at your party smiling.

Pepperoni Pizza Pops

You don't want to eat this recipe everyday, but when it's time to party, you definitely want this snack around! Hillshire Farms Lit'l Smokies are wrapped in pizza dough with a slice of pepperoni. Topped with butter, parmesan, and baked until golden brown, this is one quick snack that makes any occasion something worth celebrating!
1 package Hillshire Farms Lit'l Smokies (with Cheddar)
30 slices pepperoni
1 package prepared pizza dough
1 stick butter
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Press sucker sticks into the Lit'l Smokies. Open pizza dough and slice into 3"x 1/4" pieces. Place slices of pepperoni around the Lit'l Smokies, then wrap a piece of dough around the sausages. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush the dough around each of the Lit'l Smokies with butter. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or just until the bread is golden brown and the sausages are plumped. Remove from oven, brush again with more butter. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Serve with Sriracha or Marinara for dipping. Enjoy!
