I suppose my first problem was that the dough never became a solid piece, it was powdery...i rechecked the receipe to see if perhaps it was an egg that was missing, but no, no egg needed. I didnt&#39; know what to add to get them to come togeter so i added more butter. It worked to get them to come together, but they are just flat cookies. Oh well. I did have to tweak the icing as I couldn&#39;t get it liquidy enough, but a tad more heavy cream and a bit of corn syrup and it came out as perfect as I needed :) This was the first batch of homemade cookies on my own and my husband loves them. Hopefully they&#39;ll be a hit at the cookie exchange tonight! I&#39;m so sorry they didn&#39;t work for you. Since I&#39;m cooking at high altitude, I wonder if adding an additional 1/2c. of flour will help. I&#39;ve made that variation to the recipe (since very few people are as high as I am in Colorado) and hope it works significantly better the next time around.<br /><br /><br />Do be sure you&#39;re cooking them at 300, rather than 350.
